Diversity is a fact.

Equity is a choice.

Inclusion is an action.

Belonging is an outcome.

—Arthur Chang

As Moms of autistic boys and disability advocates, we identified white space in special need’s social skills training for more enriching, cultural, creative, and fun experiences that could spur authentic social interaction, conscious connections for kids and families, and serve as a pathway to fostering friendships for individuals with and without disabilities.

We set out to provide such a resource-The FRiENDSHiP FACTOR-a summer inclusion camp promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for neurodiverse and neurotypical children and their families. Consulting with behavioral and occupational therapists to develop a program curriculum offering opportunities for naturalistic environment teaching, social emotional development, physical activity, sensory play, and creative projects to encourage teamwork, curiosity, self-confidence, empathy, and belonging through shared experiences and peer support. Partnering with ioby.org through an on-line crowdfunding campaign, and generous donations from friends and family, we successfully funded 100% of Camp expenditures-exceeding our donation goals!  We are now a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization with tax-exempt status.

This is our passion, our purpose, and the enduring legacy we hope will make a better world for our two sons and the special needs/disability community for generations to come.

Thank You for your Awareness, Support, & Generosity,
